Beautiful apartment, excellent location! Would highly recommend!

Stunning apartment in a great location. Everything in the apartment was perfect and we loved our stay.

The apartment is beautiful, light airy and immaculately clean. Everything is close by and within easy walking distance. There are a couple of excellent coffee and breakfast bars just around the corner. Good communication from host as and when required. Would highly recommend we will most definitely return.

Such a wonderful apartment, great location with everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely purchase the parking permit as hard to park otherwise. Bath is lovely you’ll have a great stay. Hope to be back soon.

This house is absolutely stunning, a perfect location with a 5 min walk into bath and the house is so spacious! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Lovely apartment great location

We are visiting from Australia and wanted to show our children the beautiful city of Bath. The accommodation was beautifully presented in an excellent location, walking distance to all major tourist spots and shops.

Excellent period residence, beautifully and tastefully presented. Great views and location. Everything worth seeing in Bath is less than 20 mins walk away. Delightful cafes, local shops and pubs within five minutes walk at Widcombe. All modern kitchen and bathroom fittings in good working order. Beds comfortable. Linen fresh and beautifully white. Very good support and communication from the owner. Parking is available with permit provided for one vehicle. Although a little above our usual budget the overall package at City View was worth it.

This is a beautiful apartment which is very centrally located, 5’ walk from the station and the centre of town. We had a couple of issues (these houses are beautiful, but old!) but Nigel and his wife were very responsive and extremely helpful and everything was sorted quickly.

Location was incredible. The communication was super easy and quick the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Spectacular views. Very clean and has everything you need. We will definitely come again!

Very nice place, easily 5 stars. Shower pressure was really low but appears to be a plumbing issue that will be fixed. All in all this didn’t detract from the quality of the experience. Really lovely finishing touches and top quality beds, bedding, towels and linen made a marked difference. Highly recommend this host.

Excellent location; city centre and the train station was well within short walking distance, and the walk to the house had only a slight incline. There was even a grocery store nearby for some late night quick grabs! The house was beautifully designed and decorated with very thick and comfy carpets. The kitchen was also well-equipped with everything we needed. The only issue was the shower where the water pressure was very weak. As advertised, there is no washer-dryer, but I hope in the future one can be installed. As we were travelling as a family by car, the parking permit was also well appreciated, though we did have to park in the next street due to limited spaces on our street. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

The views are incredible from the kitchen especially, we definitely took a lot of photos there. Location is great not far from the city centre. I am so happy I came across this place. Communication was great, Nigel was so quick to get back and always so thorough and always answered any questions I had. I would absolutely come back and stay here if I was to visit Bath again. The location is AMAZING and the flat is gorgeous

We stayed in the lovely City View apartment for three nights and wished we could have stayed much longer!. The apartment itself felt luxurious with high quality bed linen/ fluffy towels, characterful furniture and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was incredibly spacious and really quiet despite being so close to the city. We cooked a lot in the kitchen, and it didn’t feel at all a chore with such good appliances and wonderful views across the city from the full length kitchen window! We were amazed at being able to walk into Bath - literally 5 minutes to the Roman Baths and lovely centre. It’s a very special city and was great to be so close. We happily discovered that Topping and Company bookshop was open until 9pm every evening, and enjoyed a stroll with our children across the canal bridge and to the bookshop in the evening after dinner. A really memorable stay with great hosting by Nigel who couldn’t have been more helpful, responsive and kind. We will be back!

I stayed at this property with my husband, daughter and parents in law, and we all had a wonderful few days. The apartment was spotlessly clean, probably the cleanest holiday rental we've ever stayed in! It's a beautiful flat, with gorgeous interior decor. There are lots of lovely details like luxurious hand soap, lovely throws and cushions, and great lighting. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedding and towels are very high quality. The beds are really comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, with a super shower and loads of hot water. We loved the location of the flat - everywhere we went was within easy walking distance, including the shops and restaurants, the Roman baths, the Royal Crescent and the Fashion museum. You couldn't stay in a more convenient location! Nigel was very helpful quick to respond when I had a query about the heating. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough, we all loved it!

Brilliant location, super comfortable and great apartment to have as your base for a few days in Bath. Really clean and cosy. All amenities within walking distance to explore Bath. Would definitely recommend.

We want to thank Nigel for everything. The house was spotless, we felt like home in the accommodation and the view was beautiful. We loved that the town center was 5 mins away by foot so we didn’t have to use our cars. We highly recommend Nigel’s place if you are looking for a cosy place to stay during your visit to Bath.

City View is in an ideal location to work into Bath and yet in a very quiet area. The flat was lovely, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.

City View is the perfect location for exploring Bath, set in a tranquil residential street yet only a few minutes from the train station, shopping centre and main attractions. The apartment has been beautifully restored and is immaculately presented with high quality fittings and furnishings throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or indeed book again.

Fantastic weekend break for 5 of us. Nigel was very helpful and the apartment is really lovely & spacious and so close to the station but a nice and peaceful location. We had a great time and would definitely use the apartment again to visit Bath.

Excellent city home for our week stay - spacious, great amenities and really close to the centre of Bath. Would recommend. Needed an extra parking space and found one using JustPark app just up the street which was very handy.

Great location short walk from city centre and amenities. There is on street parking as stated on the location spec however this may not necessarily be on the same street as the property and can be difficult to find a close by spot that is within the permit given. Really comfy beds and had great nights sleep. Would stay here again but would consider not driving due to parking restrictions

Amazing weekend break - we could not fault our stay! Immaculate house with beautiful decor. Approximately 5 minute walk from Bath Spa station. We didn’t manage to park in the street with our permit but found a spot around the corner easily enough. Would stay again in a heart beat!

Beautiful accommodation tastefully decorated and all equipment provided that a visitor needs. Cleaned very well before our arrival which was great to see. Host communication and process of check in and departing very well managed. Very quite compared to other Bath locations which is very hard to find normally. Highly recommended

Beautiful property! The pictures don’t do the place justice. The rooms are so much bigger than first thought and beautifully designed and clean. Situated in perfect proximity to the town centre but not one complaint about any noise. One thing that I would take into consideration, is that there are a couple of flights of stairs in the building and the road is just off of a hill. Nothing bad if you don’t mind a bit of exercise!

Fantastic place to stay in Bath , very stylish and very clean !!! Great location for getting into town and lovely little road below the house with a couple of bars, takeaways and local shop for supplies.

Nigel was a great host communication was brilliant, the apartment was exactly how you see it in the photos but better ! The rooms were big and spacious the living room especially was ideal for all sitting round together. The beds were unbelievably comfortable plus the added bonus of an extra toilet. The area was very quiet in an evening which helped at night. Check in and check out was easy. Lovely little walk down to the centre, it is on a slight hill but that didn’t bother us. We can not fault this place at all. Perfect from start to finish.

We recently returned from a stay in this beautiful City View apartment. Photos don’t do this apartment justice. Beautifully furnished to a very high standard and extremely comfortable. It is positioned just a few minutes walk from central Bath and perfectly located for the train station, everything is on your doorstep. The owners take the current COVID situation very seriously and we felt very safe staying here, everything was extremely clean and sanitised with hand gels and soaps and sprays left for our use. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone who would is travelling to Bath who would love a bit of added luxury!

This was such a great place to stay - we didn’t realise how close it was to the centre of Bath too (so convenient!) we loved it, just beautiful. Exceptionally clean and so stylishly decorated. Brilliant communication with Nigel and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a break in Bath.

We lucked out when we book this beautiful home. The house was so clean. The location was so close to the center of Bath, local grocery store, and on top of all that was our beautiful city view! Every question was answered with such a quick response and efficiency

Amazing place. Decor inside is Scandi simplicity meets gorgeous period detail. Never knew this was my favourite style but now it is. Super high touch details like Jo Malone soaps and scents. Three levels which really adds to the spacious feel. The street is super quiet and pretty. Just a walk to the bridge to get into Bath so it’s nice to enter and exit at your own discretion. Beautiful path up to Alexandra Park and easy access to the Bath Skyline (both with sweat equity involved but worth it). Nigel was super responsive and very easy to work with. We will be back when we return to Bath.

Nigel was a thoughtful host and his house in Southcot Place is beautiful. It has an air of calm tranquility despite close proximity to the city centre. The shops and pubs in the immediate vicinity are also really good so the house is well positioned. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come again.

This house is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay with amazing views across the city. Its quick and easy to the centre of Bath and although parking isn't easy, (if you forget to arrange a permit) town car parks are located close enough to not make it any issue. We loved our stay and will happily go back again!
